25-Week Fitness Challenge: Week 16, Day 108

Weighed in this morning at 162 even. Did my yoga and a walked a mile so far today, then going to the Y tonight to sit in the sauna and do the elliptical. I can’t wait to hit 160, I’m going to start running again! I feel I have to wait until I am minimum 30 pounds over my goal weight so as not to cause more stress on my knees. I miss running. I’m getting new running shoes and othortic inserts, and getting a referral/recommendation from my doc to see a physical therapist. Other folks I know who’ve had knee pain with running say it got better just with changing shoes, or taping their knees, or building strength with pilates, or taking cartilage building supplements. I won’t know for sure until I see a specialist.

I just found out that you can put in half the amount of sugar a recipe calls for without affecting the texture or taste in most cases of your baked goods! I tried it this morning, I made a batch of peanut butter cookies. They tasted the same to me and the kids but I should probably do a batch regular and do a batch with half the sugar to be sure.

Today’s Goals:
30 minutes yoga
15 minutes sauna
120 oz. water
One serving meals, no seconds
Raw veggies for snacks
Raw fruit for dessert
Brush & floss after every meal
Bedtime 11pm/Wakeup 6am
Weightloss so far – 48 pounds, 32 to go
