Day 4 Cleveland Marathon 2008 Training

It’s very slick out today, I had to decide whether or not to run outside on icy sidewalks or drive on icy roads to the gym and run on treadmill. The roads cleared up so at first I was going to go to gym, but then decided just to run outside as it would be quicker than going to the gym. I forgot I’m volunteering at my 10-year-old son’s school today.

Weight at 137 today, these last few pounds are aggravating me. I’m not going to worry about it, of after doing all this training for the marathon I’m still at 137-138, then I’ll know for sure that’s my body’s set-point and the weight I’m supposed to be. Sure as heck beats being over 200 pounds this time last year, humph.

Today’s Health Goals:
Run 5 miles
Drink 120 oz water
One serving meals, seconds declined
No salt added to food
Raw veggies for snacks, birthday cake for dessert
Brush & floss after every meal
Start: 137.5 pounds
Today’s weigh-in: 137 pounds
Weight Goal: 130 pounds
