What To Do Instead of Overeating – Call Somebody

You know how you sometimes get that panicky feeling that you just *have* to eat something even though you just ate and/or know that you are not hungry? One thing you can do instead of overeating is to call somebody. A friend or relative, maybe an acquaintance you’d like to get to know better. Or how about those business calls you’ve been putting off? In my experience the panicky feeling lasts just a few minutes, so if you can hold off for that long chances are it will pass. A phone call is jut the thing to take your mind off of stuffing your face.

I had a lovely chat with one of my best friends this morning, we had a good time catching up and even set a date to hang out next week! I’ve been so busy I’ve been letting my social life fall to the wayside, but this really helps me to take time for my social life without feeling like I’m blowing off work. I’m helping myself and being a good friend.

After talking to her I completely forgot about whatever it was I felt I just had to eat!

Today’s Health Goals:
Yoga 30 minutes
Run 3 miles
Drink 120 oz water
One serving meals, seconds declined
No salt added to food
Raw veggies for snacks
Brush & floss after every meal
Today’s weigh-in: 152 pounds
Weight Goal: 130 pounds
