Broke the Fast

Trula August 2009 Supple Mama.com

I had a therapy appointment yesterday, and afterwards realized I am in no emotional state to fast. I didn’t tell the therapist about it, only that I wasn’t eating much. Overall I feel good about the decision because I don’t think a fast will work while I am still in so much emotional turbulence.

Today’s health/fitness goals:
30 minutes yoga
Walk 2 miles
120 oz. water
Raw veggies for snacks
Raw fruit for dessert
One serving meals, no seconds
No salt added to food
Brush & floss after every meal
Bedtime when sleepy, wake up 5am

  1. Trula, thank you for your comment on my blog a few days ago. I really appreciate it. By the way, I think you are right. When we are going through emotionally difficult times, things like fasting are especially hard. It is probably best to postpone fasting for a bit.

  2. Thank you Steve. I am finding it difficult right now to maintain healthy eating…maybe in a bit when I am better the fast will be something I can do.
