How to have better posture

“HARD”

How I did it: I saw a recent photo of myself and got mad at how slumped over I looked. So I decided then and there to change it. Having good posture involves being aware of your body…you have to constantly monitor that you are holding yourself erect. But after a week I no longer felt I was ‘making’ myself stand or sit up straight, I just was. It felt natural and easy. But the initial week was so hard!

It took me 1 week.

It made me aware!

  1. Thank you for this gentle reminder that I need to work on my own posture. Very timely! :)

  2. Posture is so important, yet it is talked about so infrequently.
