			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So it is day 98 on the 100 Day Countdown. I slept really well last night and woke up very refreshed. I had a good day today, went to the gym and had a nice workout. Brian, my husband, got a Snicker&#8217;s ice cream bar which I avoided, but I did have some chips later in the day. Not too many though, just a serving. </p>
<p>Today&#8217;s workout:<br />
30 minutes treadmill<br />
15 minutes elliptical<br />
10 minutes weightlifting<br />
20 minutes swimming</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have 100 days until I reach my goal weight! I am giving myself plenty of time, until December 25th 2011. I figure this will be a great present to give myself, the gift of health.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s been a long time since I posted but I am making a pledge to myself to start posting here again regularly. I miss blogging, quite a bit. Plus it helped me stay focused on eating healthy and working out. Today I was off work at the day job (substitute teaching) and mostly laid around, so I have to get moving this evening. I will go for a brisk walk after dinner, 30 minutes. </p>
<p>Food 1400 calories, water 64 oz.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Substitute teaching really keeps me on my feet. I find that during a 6.5 hour school day, I&#8217;m on my feet brisk walking at least half the time. The other time I&#8217;m either slow-walking the classroom, on my lunch or a planning period break. Who knew teaching was good exercise LOL!</p>
<p>I found a new yoga studio to go to, it looks really neat. I start next week. Even though I haven&#8217;t started class yet I already love the place for having online booking. That&#8217;s very helpful! It&#8217;s been so long since I did yoga within a class I can&#8217;t even say&#8230;I&#8217;ve been doing my practice at home, alone. This has been therapeutic for me, but now I&#8217;m ready to meet others also on this path.</p>
<p>Weight-wise things are looking up. I&#8217;m slowly losing the weight I&#8217;d gained back due to my med change a few months ago; it&#8217;s coming off one painful pound at a time. I&#8217;m getting there&#8230;learning to deal with this ravenous hunger induced by my meds; learning to work around it and control my appetite. And consistency with exercise! is key also.</p>
<p>Today&#8217;s Goals:<br />
1/2 hour yoga at home<br />
Drink 120 oz water<br />
One serving low salt meals, no seconds<br />
Raw veggies and/or air-popped popcorn for snacks<br />
Fruit for dessert<br />
Brush &#038; floss after every meal<br />
Today’s weigh-in: 171 pounds<br />
Goal Weight: 130 pounds</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have a love/hate relationship with exercise. I hate doing it, I hate starting it, but I LOVE the way it makes me feel. When I get that endorphin rush, it feels just like right after orgasm, that full, flushed, <i>satisfied</i> feeling of goodness and satiation. I just feel so good, and relaxed, and tingly, and calm. And it lasts for a long time! this feeling, for just hours and hours. Exercise really makes a huge difference in my day. In my life. </p>
<p>My favorite exercise is running, then yoga, then the elliptical machine. Today is a 5 mile run, tomorrow, 3 miles, then friday will hit the gym and do the elliptical. I&#8217;ve been doing yoga at home for years now but recently (as part of my getting over shyness plan) found a studio and signed up for classes, went to the first one yesterday. It was grand, the teacher is really nice and grounded and the other students were really welcoming and friendly. One of the women I talked to is also running in the Cleveland marathon this year, and it was nice to talk about running with someone who shares this enthusiasm. </p>
