But not sure if I could, kinda shaky on that. I’m losing weight again and don’t want to lose any ground.

I just have to hold tight to my reasons for getting to a healthy weight. I am one fat attack away from diabetes, hypertension, all sorts of health issues that plague many in my family. PLUS at a healthy weight I can run! without all that fat pressure hurting my knees.

So I find myself having these intense longings for food I don’t even eat much, like yesterday at work I was totally fiending for stick pretzels. You know how sometimes 2 of them are stuck together? I wanted those, just those. Cracked myself up!

This is generally what I take to work to eat: A big salad, a couple of boiled eggs, 2 apples or some other fruit, a baggie of snow peas, a big bag of air-popped popcorn (no salt or butter on it boo hiss! ha ha) and some herbal tea and honey. Some days instead of eggs I take yogurt and/or nuts. On days I am at my bookstore also I add a few veggie sandwiches (peanut butter or veggie burger I made) and another piece of fruit. All in all it’s not enough, I feel hungry a lot. I’m going to up what I take in because I want to avoid getting the junk food that is there, yuck.

Most everyone at my job eats junk, junk, junk all day long…calorie dense and high fat foods that fill you up but offer very little nutrition. The food I eat is opposite; it’s very high in nutrition, fiber, etc but you burn through it very quickly…which is fine when I’m working at home or at my store and can eat when and how I want, but at the job it’s a hassle cause I’m restricted to eating within a few short breaks and a half hour lunch. It takes me 10 minutes just to eat my salad! LOL.

Today I added pasta with a nice low-salt sauce Mercury Man made (leftovers from dinner), tomorrow I’m adding a baked potato. I bet foods like those will make all the difference. Any suggestions?
