			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ugh! A couple of the meds I have to take for my mental illness are really making it hard for me to lose weight. It&#8217;s piling back on, and I often feel hopeless about what to do. I&#8217;m not going to stop taking my medication because being fat is infinitely better than being crazy, but at the same time I am sure I don&#8217;t have to settle for being overweight. Sure, the meds increase my appetite, but I always have a choice. I do have power over what I put in my mouth. I&#8217;ve read that some medical professionals feel that these sort of meds actually slow down the metabolic rate&#8230;well if that is the case I can combat that by increasing my exercise. So! I have a plan of attack, just need to follow through.</p>
<p>Today’s Health Goals:<br />
30 minutes yoga<br />
30 minutes brisk walking<br />
2 mile run<br />
Drink 120 oz water<br />
One serving meals, no seconds<br />
Raw veggies or air-popped popcorn for snacks<br />
Fruit for dessert<br />
Brush &#038; floss after every meal<br />
Today’s weigh-in: 173 pounds<br />
Goal Weight: 130 pounds</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last night I drank a wee bit too much at a party, but stayed in my calories food-wise. Still, I&#8217;m running an extra mile today and drinking lots of water because alcohol has been known to dehydrate me and bloat me up, yuck. good news, I lost 3 pounds since Monday! going low salt is the key for me, for sure. That and running. I feel I am losing both excess water and actual fat.</p>
<p>30 minutes yoga<br />
30 minutes brisk walking<br />
2 mile run<br />
Drink 120 oz water<br />
One serving low salt meals, no seconds<br />
Raw veggies and/or air-popped popcorn for snacks<br />
Fruit for dessert<br />
Brush &#038; floss after every meal<br />
Today’s weigh-in: 161 pounds<br />
Goal Weight: 130 pounds</p>
